Journeys, Fatherhood & Traditions!

Hey there, Humble Brag family!

Jeremy, Kedrick, Charles & Jeff here, coming at you fresh off another incredible episode of "The Humble Brag Podcast". You know how it goes – we gather 'round, drinks in hand (a fine Cabernet or that smoky whiskey), dive deep into our personal stories, and emerge with some eye-opening insights. Oh, and a few good laughs! So, if you missed the last episode don’t worry check us out above and subscribe on YOUTUBE! Here's a quick rundown of the episode.

Embarking on Transformative Journeys & Celebrating Family Bonds

Kedrick's tales of his Southeast Asia travels were something else. Can you believe the travel to Vietnam? 21 hours in the air! Those streets, the food, the energy! We all agreed: there's nothing quite like immersing yourself in a new culture to shake up your perspective. And, trust us, Kedrick definitely got more than he bargained for! Charles' story about family definitely, had us all nostalgic. We chatted about the power of memories, and how photographs can instantly take us back to precious moments. Jeremy's reference to his grandmother and matriarchs that look over the family. Nothing beats the wisdom and guidance of our families, and this episode made it all the more clear.

Life's Challenges and Navigating Cultural Landscapes

Now, Jeff's travel woes? Hilarious and, honestly, so relatable. Who hasn't had a travel faux pas? But, it's not just about the funny stories. As we sipped on our drinks, we delved into how these experiences, no matter how challenging, shape us. It's about adaptability, embracing the unknown, and learning to laugh at ourselves. The prospect of future journeys – like Hong Kong and Bali – got us buzzing. We're talking local cuisines, unexpected adventures, and yes, probably a few misadventures too. But isn't that the thrill of it all? Dive in, embrace the unknown, and always, always bring back a story for the show.

Delving into Fatherhood, Faith, and Traditions

Fatherhood was a touching segment. From Charles' aspirations to Jeff’s take on parenting, it’s clear that being a dad is a journey in itself. And as for faith and traditions? They’re the compass that guides us, and this episode served as a beautiful reminder.

Interweaving Faith and Personal Traditions

We ended on a reflective note, diving into the spiritual and the traditions we hold close. It was a toast to past generations and a nod to the legacies we're crafting today. To wrap it up, this episode was one for the books. A rollercoaster of emotions, laughter, a bit of ribbing, and, of course, some of the best drinks!

A Toast with Freakshow 2020 Red Blend

No episode of “The Humble Brag Podcast” would be complete without the clink of our glasses. For this ride, we savored the tastes of Michael and David Phillips Freakshow Red Wine Lodi 2020. A nod to the Phillips family's rich history in grape cultivation that stretches back to the 1850s. Michael and David, representing the 5th generation, have upheld the family's legacy with passion and innovation.

Why do we adore this wine? Beyond its rich lineage, the Phillips family prides itself on quality wines that not only taste impeccable but also come adorned in fun, quirky labels. And the geniuses behind this particular blend? Wine makers Adam Mettler, Derek DeVries, and Jeff Farthing, who've mastered the craft of bringing out the best of Lodi’s renowned Old Vine Zinfandels, and other Rhone varietals.

A testament to sustainable farming, the Phillips' 800-acre vineyards are a beacon of progressive practices that ensure nature’s best is passed on to the next generation. Now, the wine itself – Freakshow Red. A hypnotic concoction of Syrah and Petite Sirah, it feels like the wild carnival of flavors was crafted with the Wolfman's touch. The 2020 vintage gleams ruby and seduces with scents of summer berries, caramel, spices, and sweet tobacco. Wild yet refined, its body is a carnival of flavors – think red cherry cobbler, all spice, and a hint of dark espresso. The finish? As lingering as our podcast tales, carried by bright, velvety tannins.

So, here's to shared stories, laughter, and a glass of Freakshow that complements every twist and turn. Don't just take our word for it - grab a bottle and join us on the next episode!

Cheers to life, love, and endless stories!

Till next time, Jeremy, Kedrick, Charles & Jeff
